Auto export
One operation. Five stages
Auto export from the US to 100+ countries, run as one service. Every shipment goes through the five stages below, on our warehouses, our crews, and our carrier contracts
Five stages. All ours.
Each stage runs in our warehouses, with our people, under one compliance chain. You see one workflow and one account manager.
Auction pickup and inland trucking.
You pay the auction directly. Send the lot number and buyer ID, and we will arrange pickup at Copart, IAAI, Manheim, Adesa, and other auto auctions in the continental US within 3 business days. The driver photographs the vehicle at the yard. Inland trucking goes to whichever of our six warehouses fits the destination port and the consolidation.
You receive: Pickup photos in MyDapex within 24 hours. Inland tracking from the yard to the warehouse. A message from your account manager if the yard refuses pickup or the title is missing.
Warehouse receipt and condition report.
The vehicle arrives at our warehouse. Our crew photographs it from all angles and writes a condition report. Any damage, from the auction or from the road, is recorded here. This report is the record of the vehicle's condition when we took custody.
You receive: Receipt photos and a downloadable condition report in MyDapex within 24 hours.
Container loading or RoRo staging.
For container, our crew positions, lashes, and seals the vehicles at the warehouse. A shared 40HC usually takes four cars, five when they're small or salvage, three when they're full-size SUVs. Full containers for high-volume customers. For RoRo, the vehicle is staged at the port and handed to the carrier's roll-on team, with at most a quarter tank of fuel and photographs at the handoff.
You receive: Loading photos (container) or port-staging photos (RoRo) in MyDapex within 24 hours. Container number and seal number on the BL.
Ocean booking and documentation.
We book the carrier directly: Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, COSCO, OOCL on container; Höegh, Wallenius, ACL, Sallaum, K Line, Grimaldi on RoRo. AES filing with US Customs, ISF where required, our own HBL issued in-house, master BL secured from the carrier.
You receive: Confirmed sailing, vessel name, ETA. The HBL for your review before the vessel sails.
Pre-alert and tracking.
When the vessel sails, the full document set goes to your clearing agent at destination: HBL, commercial invoice, packing list, container details, AES and ISF confirmations. Live ocean tracking in MyDapex from departure to discharge. After discharge, the file passes to your clearing agent.
You receive: The pre-alert sent to your destination agent. Live tracking in MyDapex or in your own portal if white-labeled. The arrival notice the moment we receive it from the carrier.

Three modes. One workflow.
The five stages stay the same. The mode changes how stage three runs and which carrier takes stage four. Most volume is container. RoRo on specific lanes. Air by exception.
Container
20', 40', 40HC. Shared or full. Loaded at our warehouse by our crew. Direct contracts with Maersk, MSC, CMA CGM, Hapag-Lloyd, COSCO, OOCL. Co-loading is arranged when broker partners have cars at the same yards.
- When: the default for ongoing volume. Best per-car cost in a shared 40HC.
- When not: some destinations clear containers slowly or awkwardly. Ask us about yours.
RoRo
Roll-on, roll-off through Höegh, Wallenius, ACL, Sallaum, K Line, Grimaldi. Running vehicles only, quarter tank of fuel at most. Faster than container on some lanes, and no container stuffing.
- When: single oversized vehicles. Running vehicles where speed matters. Ports that handle RoRo better than containers.
- When not: the vehicle has to drive on and off. Inoperable vehicles don't qualify.
Air freight
Booked for time-critical shipments, specialty vehicles, or destinations without practical ocean access. Filed under TSA IAC compliance. Run when your requirement justifies the cost.
- When: time-critical movement. Specialty cargo where ocean is impractical.
- When not: cost is a multiple of ocean. Most shipments don't need it.
Title work is a category of its own.
A car without a clean title cannot be exported, and a late title is the most common reason a car sits in our warehouse. We run a dedicated title team from auction through shipment.
What the title team does
Verification at the start.
Title status checked on every vehicle before booking: branded titles, salvage classifications, lien status, export eligibility.
Tracing when titles are late.
Auctions are slow with titles. The team works directly with auction title departments to chase missing or delayed titles and escalates when they stall.
Lien releases.
A vehicle with an open lien cannot ship. The team works on the release with the lienholder, coordinates with your payment, and confirms a clean title before departure.
Duplicate-title applications.
When the original is lost, damaged, or never delivered, the team files for a duplicate through the issuing state DMV.
Why the team is in-house
Cars don't move if titles don't. If the title is late, the car waits, and the storage meter runs. If there's a lien, someone has to chase the lienholder. If a duplicate is needed, someone has to work the state DMV.
Three things we won't ship.
Each one costs the customer real money when it's discovered late. Better to say so here.
A vehicle without a title or salvage certificate.
We need a clean title or a valid salvage certificate before we book. Where a state never issued a title, CBP accepts other proof of ownership, and the documentation department will tell you what qualifies. A car waiting on a title sits in our warehouse and accrues storage.
A vehicle with an unreleased lien.
An open lien means the lienholder has a legal claim on the car. The title team works with the lienholder on the release. Until the release is verified, the car stays at the warehouse.
Loose personal effects in a RoRo vehicle.
RoRo carriers require an empty cabin and trunk. Loose items are a security and liability problem at the port and on the vessel. Personal effects can ship in a container load under a documented declaration. They cannot ride loose in a RoRo vehicle.
